Hushfast

Privacy Policy

Effective September 8, 2026

Hushfast is an intermittent fasting timer for iPhone. This policy explains what information the app handles and what happens to it. The short version: your fasting data stays on your device, we do not run analytics or ads, and there is no third party at all: purchases go through Apple, like any App Store purchase.

What stays on your device

Everything you enter into Hushfast is stored locally on your iPhone and never uploaded by us:

The Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets and the Lock Screen Live Activity read the current fast from the same on-device storage. Nothing leaves your iPhone for them to work.

If you delete the app, this data is deleted with it. Hushfast does not have user accounts and does not ask for your name, email address, or any health measurements.

Reminders

The "fast complete" reminder is a local notification scheduled on your iPhone. It does not go through our servers or any push notification service.

Purchases

Hushfast's core features are free. Hushfast Pro is a one-time purchase sold through the Apple App Store; there is no subscription. Payment is handled entirely by Apple under Apple's privacy policy. We never see your payment details.

Whether Pro is unlocked is answered by the App Store itself on your iPhone (Apple's StoreKit), which is also how Restore Purchases works on a new phone. Hushfast has no server and does not receive, store or send any purchase identifier.

Apple Health (optional)

If you connect Apple Health from the History tab, Hushfast reads your body weight to draw a trend next to your fasts. This is read only: Hushfast never writes to Health, and the readings stay on your iPhone. You can revoke access at any time in the Health app under Sharing, then Apps.

What we do not do

Children

Hushfast is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Fasting is not recommended for children and teenagers without medical supervision.

Not medical advice

The stages shown in the app describe what commonly happens in the body during a fast. They are general information, not a diagnosis or a treatment plan. Talk to a doctor before fasting if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, under 18, underweight, diabetic, have a history of disordered eating, or take medication.

Changes to this policy

If we change how Hushfast handles data, we will update this page and the effective date above. Material changes will also be noted in the App Store release notes.
